CEO Update | March 2022

The world is opening up and it’s so lovely to be returning to doing things and spending time with people we love. For our team at Just Play HQ we’re enjoying a renewed energy from seeing our colleagues most days and collaborating in person. Most of all we’re reveling in the satisfaction that comes from seeing all of our wonderful Just Play members back playing a weekly game with teammates new and old.

Plans for the business in 2022 and welcoming new faces

After two years of treading water we’re excited to continue to build our team and product to deliver the best possible experience to all of our players. Team wise, we’ve recently welcomed Rusty in the role of Operations Support Specialist and Jayy and Annaliese as the newest members of our Customer Support team.

Product news

On the product front we’re very excited to share that we’re well on our way to providing you all with brand new iOS & android mobile apps that include the 3 most requested features from previous voting on our product roadmap.
These features are… (drumroll):

  • Adding a team chat function (organising drinks or an extra shootaround 👋 )

  • Improved filtering of search results (days of the week, skill level, indoor/outdoor etc)

  • Ability to book and manage one-off games within Just Play, as well as easily inviting friends to join for a one-off game

We’re expecting this app update to be released in approximately 3 months time (June/July) and can’t wait to see you all in the new app.

Some work-in-progress designs of our new chat and filtering features

You can always visit our product roadmap page to request new features, or reach out to us directly and let us know what you would love  to see.

Until next time

If you’ve made it this far then thanks for reading. If you’re loving Just Play it would mean the world to us if you were to tell a friend about us, or to take 30 seconds to give us a review on Google or in the iOS or Android app store. Got some ideas on how we can do better? Send us a message and let us know, we’re always wanting to improve your experience.

Will hopefully catch you at a game sometime soon.

Thanks,

David
